Christie's in HK

Asian Contemporary Art sold for more than HK$1 billion at Christie's auction in Hong Kong this Sunday, with 20th Century Chinese Art going for record prices.
Portrait of a Lady by Xu Beihong, went for nearly HK$30 million, including fees.

Remember Del Pilar Street in Manila's bar district 20 years ago. Most of the girlie bars in the centre had to close in the early nineties thanks to over-eager Mayor Lim.
